Excerpts from our exclusive interview with him:
Q1) Tell us a little bit more about I2Cure, please;
I2Cure is a biotechnology company promoted by leaders in the scientific & business world from the USA and Singapore. I2cure comes from the mind of Dr. Jack Kessler (Father of I2) and is an FDA Compliant, ISO 9001:2015, and WHO GMP certified product. It was founded on a simple idea to provide the world with a product that gave more than just short-term, superficial protection against germs and microbes.
I2cure is the first company in the world to provide molecular Iodine based ‘Bio Shield’, a deep cleaning hand lotion that is not just effective and safe, but also provides nourishment to the human skin.
Q2) How did the idea for I2Cure come about?
My friends in the US connected me to Dr. Jack Kessler (Father of Iodine Chemistry). He had been struggling with his 30 years of research on Molecular Iodine to create awareness and go to market. Iodine has been used by Human beings for 200 years. Last research on Iodine was done as Povidone Iodine 50 years ago. The active ingredient in Povidone Iodine is Molecular Iodine which is stabilized only 5-8 ppm (parts per million), Dr. Kessler managed to create a product at a few thousand PPM. This makes i2Cure-Molecular Iodine a few hundred times more powerful than Povidone – Iodine. He has also removed the nasty color n smell of Iodine.
Our product has very powerful applications- Where ever Iodine has been used historically.
Q3) How I2Cure will be a game-changer in the pharma world?
Anil Kejriwal – My focus was to create an Anti-TB application as this has great efficacy to kill TB bacteria since a maximum number of deaths in India happen due to TB. Then suddenly the Covid menace strangled the world. So Dr. Kessler and I thought of saving the world from Covid. i2Cure has great efficacy against all viruses including Sars-Cov-2. We launched a product against Covid19.
We have over 30products for various applications. We will launch them in phases. We will be the GAME CHANGER in the Pharma & Derma world. Ours is a simple natural product, not a complex molecule with scary side effects.
I2Cure stands apart from other quick-fix topical disinfectants like alcohol-based sanitizers as it provides iodine protection to the skin. I2cure is absorbed in the skin releasing a vapor which builds a protective shield and acts as antimicrobial material up to 6 hoursDr. Kessler, Inventor, I2cure.
Q4) Who will be benefited from your product, molecular iodine?
Everyone can benefit from molecular iodine today. Persons with nascent stage infection (who have just been infected) and the virus is still in the ENT area can benefit from speedy recovery as the viral load in the ENT region can be drastically reduced with the help of molecular iodine.
People with existing chronic / critical illnesses/comorbidity conditions will immensely benefit as it will reduce their chances of contracting this deadly virus significantly. Persons with infected patients in the family can immensely benefit too.
Q5) What’s your marketing & distribution strategy? Online or offline channel?
We are already listed in more than 10 portals now and also available offline in various cities. We are in talks with various distributors in the country for making it available in every nook and corner of the country.
Q6) I2Cure products will be made in India?
The active ingredient is currently made in Boston, USA, and formulated and packed in Roorkee, Uttrakhand, India. We have contracts with various countries for exports. We plan to go into 32 countries by this year. We are sure to become PM’s largest dream project- ‘Make in India 4 World’!!
