Q1) Tell us a little bit about your start-up and your journey, please;
I am Krishna Parulekar, founder of MBM Global and co-founder (CCO) for LoveActuallyMe. I started MBM global an auditing company 4 years back where I help big societies with their operational, audit and legal services. I hold 21 societies up to now and proudly call myself a sole fighter who with the help of my father gained from 3 to 22 in span of short time.
As for LoveActuallyMe, LoveActuallyMe is an initiative for PWD (People with disabilities). It is online and offline initiative where we empower, enable and encourage the community to meet, greet and network with like minded Abled and Disabled. I am the co-founder and head the this community.
This project is very close to me as my best friend is my partner so I get to meet and work with her personally and professionally and working for PWD community is plus one because they are brilliant, super friendly and nontoxic people. I love seeing a smile on their faces and have made so many good friends again in short span of time.
Q2) How did the idea for your business/startup come about?
MBM Global, I started when I came back from Dubai where I was working for Landmark. My father needed my support as my Brother is working in Merchant Navy and As I always wanted to do of my own I took this opportunity, gave my exam and got certified to work as an auditor. I love my work because I get to meet people, work closely on the operations and help them with their taxes too. I am now successfully working my way up from 3 societies to 21 and growing with my hard work and determination.
As for LoveActuallyMe, this project is very close to me because I am working with my people and working for unspoken community making them socialize and meet new people outside their zone.
Q3) What was your key driving force to become an entrepreneur?
Right from college, I was a workaholic, I survived the hardest period with my family where money was an issue due to my Father’s sudden illness and we had all the responsibilities on my mother and my head. This fighting zeal made me stronger and the experiences I went through kept me grounded. (Frankly, I love running my own show so, starting something of my own was the best decision I ever made)
Q4) How did you come up with the name for your business/startup?
Hahaha, I was just talking to Tanushree (founder of LoveActuallyMe) 3 days back wondering how on earth I came up with MBM global. It does sound nice hahaha. But jokes apart the name is Multiple Business Management that’s globally spreaded so MBM Global
As for LoveActuallyMe, It was Tanu’s idea and I loved the name so went with the flow LoveActuallyMe.
Q5) What service(s) or product(s) do you offer/manufacture?
I offer auditing services to my clients, I work with big cooperative societies and manage their operations, audit, accounts, man power and Licenses and any legal help.
For LoveActuallyMe I handle and head the community space and help Tanu in execution with projects. I also, do online live chats and take interviews. Basically, I am the community girl ?
Q6) Why should people choose your product/services?
I work nonstop, I am transparent and I give top notch services without any complains and on time. I work on the ground level and make sure everything part of my responsibility is carried out flawlessly. If its MBM Global or LoveActuallyMe I respect my work, I work with love and deliver within my time frame.
Q7) How do you market your business, and which tactics have been most successful?
As for MBM Global, the reputation and my working skills talks about me and this passes to new customers through word of mouth and I get work with that.
LoveActuallyMe, We are in the limelight with our various events, we are coming up with online socializing app where we will help them to meet new people. But here too with our positive goodwill in the market, and transparency, we have a ever growing community and its growing every day .
Q8) What risks are you facing?
To be honest, risk I face is the volatility in the financial market clubbed with the inflation rate and the saving and investing capacity of our country as a whole.
Q9) Did pandemic (COVID 19) affected your business? If yes how?
Well pandemic did affect all I guess, but my customers are superb, I got paid for my services every month. Today too, I have to go only 3 to 4 times a week because of the situation.
As for LoveActuallyMe, Pandemic helped us in terms of Brand building which scored us 100. We had Ignite an Instagram event which got us 6000 viewers in total and now our app is shaping us. Yes, we didn’t earn with money but we did with full love, support of community and abled
Q10) Have you considered any alliance/partnership/funding?
I don’t need funding for MBM Global as of now, but yes, for LoveActuallyMe we are waiting for our beta version to come up for proceed for funding. I can’t spill more beans here ?
Q11) What are your responsibilities as the business owner?
Responsibilities: Be on time, Work on time, execute before time, be employee oriented and treat all equally.
Q12) How many hours a day do you work on average & can you describe/outline your typical day?
I work every day .. haahah… day and night.. My day starts with work and a cup of chai and ends with work and cup of chai.

My greatest fear is I am over ambitious, blunt and am habitual of being a leader. All these qualities in one woman cannot be handled positively by majority of the people I work with.
Q14) What comes first for you money or emotions?
Emotions and money go hand in hand and I cannot decide one. I have a certain inner circle of people who include close friends and family where emotions come first but when at work these emotions are dead. I am an animal lover so where it comes to animals emotions come first to me.
Q15) Tell us about your early life & How has being an entrepreneur affected your family life?
My college life I was a girl who was different form the rest. (You can ask this from Tanushree) As I said, I had early responsibilities, so I had no time to make Friends and go out and enjoy. But, Now touchwood, being a successful entrepreneur, I am enjoying everything I missed being in college. Khao, Peeyo and Masst raho :p
