We hope this can inspire you to become a successful person too! It is worth listening to a successful motivation speaker or to people who share their success stories? We can significantly learn many things from the experiences of them, by listening to their story.

Excerpts from our exclusive interview with him:

Q1) Tell us a little bit about your journey that motivated you to be a Professional Speaker and Corporate Trainer, please;

My plans in life were quite different compared to what I am doing right now. I wanted to join the Indian Navy as a Flying Officer. The willingness and discipline to be a part of this formidable force transformed me to a great extent. I got trained by Ex-Army and Navy officers for several years. This helped me to transform my personality, be a public speaker, and top in my academics during college days.

However, soon after my graduation, I faced eyesight issues, because of which I was not eligible to join the Aviation Wing as per the medical standards. This was perhaps the lowest point in my life however I realized that the skills I have of Advance Communication and Leadership are in huge demand in the corporate and hence I chose to be a Professional Speaker and Corporate Trainer.

Q2) How did the idea for your training startup come about?

I have worked in fast-growing start-ups to mentor students and been a global learning consultant to professionals across 150+ countries which helped me realize the scope of the training industry.

Since then I have mentored over 3700 students and professionals.

Q3) What was your key driving force to become an entrepreneur?

I always wanted my growth to be in my hand, based on my efforts and my uniqueness. I realized the best way possible for this is to take the control into my own hands, which motivated me to start VisionX Training Systems, a training company for Corporate and Public.

Q4) How did you come up with the name for your business/startup?

It’s important to have the right vision and direction in life else we can easily get diverted.

For example: If a ship sailing at sea gets diverted by 1 degree from its actual direction then on completion of 60 miles, it will miss its destination by 1 mile and that’s a huge difference, hence I named my company: VisionX Training Systems.

Q5) What service(s) do you offer?

Being a Professional Speaker & Corporate trainer we work with corporate as well as with individuals.

For Corporate:

  • We help design and curate Motivational Talks for the employees of different companies based on their interests so that the efficiency remains high and they feel inspired. This acts as a morale booster for so many employees and is very useful in the current scenarios.
  • We provide advanced communication and leadership development training for young team leaders and senior leadership teams of various companies.
  • We are also into One on One coaching as this helps each and every individual to understand their key strengths and we handhold them so that they can successfully implement in their personal and professional life.

For the Public:

  • I am a guest speaker at several colleges and public events.
  • We train college students to become future-ready and help them learn about various opportunities lying ahead.
  • We conduct several Online Workshops for people across the country.
  • We have developed several Online Training courses in the field of Advance communication and Leadership so that people can make the most of it sitting at home. We also provide Online Live Training and Q&A so that it can help in the best way possible.
  • We provide one on one coaching by identifying the requirement of the candidate with proper feedback so that it can help transform their life.

Q6) Why should people choose your product/services?

I come from a background where I was getting trained to join the Indian Navy as a flying officer and hence the services we offer are well researched and data-driven.

Apart from the great content and practical methodologies, we make sure that every corporate or individual gets own personal attention so that we can modify as per their requirements.

Q7) Did pandemic (COVID 19) affect your business? if yes how?

Pandemic has forced us to transform the Speaking & Training industry, because of lack of public events this industry is slowing changing into the online mode and I feel here lies a hidden opportunity.

When I started conducting online trainings, it helped me reach more people in a short period of time as compared to any offline training event because of which more people are getting benefited from my Online Courses and Live Training programs across India.

Q8) What are your responsibilities as a business owner?

In my industry, we have to be on our toes to understand the pain points of our clients and find practical ways to solve them.

Because of the ever-changing marketplace, the most important responsibility is to constantly innovate and improve.

Q9) How many hours a day do you work on average & can you describe/outline your typical day?

I generally spend 12-14 hours a day working, it may look hectic but for me, I don’t even know how the day ends.

The day starts with a plan, planning is very important for me otherwise everything can go haywire. Followed by work, however, I make sure that I have constant breaks and refreshment sessions which keeps me going and boosts my morale every day.

You will always find me in conducting several pieces of training, mentoring sessions, feedback, and helping my clients to formulate a strategy to implement in the near future.

The day ends by replying to all the emails that I had received throughout the day.

Q10) What is your greatest fear, and how do you manage fear?

My greatest fear is not being able to peruse what I wanted i.e., Professional Speaking and Training.

Fear is inevitable because whenever you try to come out of your comfort zone you’ll face it, especially the fear of failure. But the only way to reduce this is to be constantly surrounded by it.

Q11) What comes first for your money or emotions?

For me, the satisfaction, the growth, the happiness of my clients is most important.

Emotions help me bind with them and helps create an opportunity that can help them make a difference. Money automatically flows when you provide great service.

The same happens in my training and coaching sessions too, the flexibility of my clients to reach out to me when they are in need or confusion and my prompt response helps them feel connected to me.

Q12) Tell us about your early life & How has been an entrepreneur affected your family life?

As I described, my early life was all about the Armed Forces and Training to join the same. Every decision I took was focused to achieve it. However, now it’s all about achieving my current goals and working towards future targets.

My family and my work go hand in hand, I hardly feel that I have to compromise something for the other and the reason for this is I love what I do. When you love what you do, time is never a factor and I manage to spend good quality time with my family and friends because of the same.

Q13) What piece of advice would you give to college graduates who want to become entrepreneurs??

Exploration is the key!

Most of us have a fixed mindset, and because of this, we are not able to think beyond the limited space that we are in. We fail to explore and experiment because of a lack of security. Human beings are not to be blamed for this, because since the Stone Age we have adapted ourselves in a way that encourages being secured, and as a result growth is very minimal. I keep working with my clients on this whether it’s coaching or online training programs because transformation begins out of your comfort zone!
