His mission at Rankset is to improve engagement between teams player recruitments and player needs in order to find the most Effective and Accurate Transfer possible. Today we got a chance to interview him, lets know more about him & his startup.

Q1) Tell us a little bit about your start-up and your journey, please;

Our company is called Rankset and our mission is to improve engagement between football teams and football players.

Q2) How did the idea for your business/startup come about?

We are a bunch of friends who loves football and we started researching models of winning teams and what is the effect of the human material on them.

Q3) What was your key driving force to become an entrepreneur?

We found out what amounts of money football teams are losing on failed transfers each year for bringing in Prospects who don’t match the organization’s goals.

Q4) How did you come up with the name for your business/startup?

We developed a unique ranking system for each parameter in the game and thought of a correct and accurate name for our amazing product.

Q5) What service(s) or product(s) do you offer/manufacture?

We offer a  product called player story which summarizes in a precise and detailed way how the player’s relationship with the Wanted Club is meant to be.

Q6) What problems do solve Rrankset?

While all the others serve raw unanalyzed data. And more than 50% of the transfers consider as a failure, At Rankset we know how to analyze it for your club’s needs and budget, using completely automatic algorithms, machine learning, and excepted performance. We observe the team and players’ chemistry in a way like never before.

  • For football Agents And Clubs, we provide a Product called “Player story”  which includes specific Data About the player who wanted to transfer and how it is meant to be Using unique prediction Capabilities.
  • For football teams, we provide a monthly subscription database that holds specific Relevant  Players per position for them to recruit At the upcoming transfer window.

Q7) Why should people choose your product/services?

While all the others Serve raw unanalyzed Data we use unique parameters in order to improve transfer success possibilities using machine learning Ai in our unique algorithm.

Q8) How do you market your business, and which tactics have been most successful?

As for now, we focus on our local market here in Israel which we have pilots with a few teams Hopefully soon we will reach more Markets via Success.

Q9) What risks are you facing? 

Our risk is our advantage which is more and more football teams believe in understanding what works the best way for them through the data and numbers.

Q10) Did pandemic (COVID 19) affect your business? if yes how?

Luckily we Started During the pandemic but obviously, each industry is affected in the way of Traveling Conventions and Meetings. We make it up with a lot of Zoom hours.

Q11) Have you considered any alliance/partnership/funding?

We are interested in raising more money to improve our video analysis Data gettering and machine learning capabilities.

Q12) What are your responsibilities as the business owner?

As for now, I’m responsible for sharing the world of football with Rankest idea, keep developing our product together with my amazing team, and finding more teams and agencies to corporate with them.

Q13) How many hours a day do you work on average & can you describe/outline your typical day?

I can’t even count the amount of time which we chat, talk, and analyze football and I am proud to work at something I love the most.

Our morning starts at our office and going through meetings and zooms these days.

Q14) What is your greatest fear, and how do you manage fear?

Everyone has fears, I have been told that if your dreams don’t scare you they aren’t big enough, I always think that our product can improve more and be more accurate.

Q15) What comes first for you money or emotions?

Money is a result of creativity and hard work. all of us co-founders had other businesses which we could have found our comfort zones, I believe that if you do something with passion and love success will come with big money.

Q16) Tell us about your early life & How has being an entrepreneur affected your family life?

My wife and daughter complain anyway about me being totally committed to football, it affects that there is less time for being together but we make it up on weekends.

Q17) What piece of advice would you give to college graduates who want to become entrepreneurs??

Dream big and try to do what your heart and mind love the most, find a problem, and try to solve it in a simple way.
